The eleventh session of the Plenary of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES 11) is scheduled to be held in Windhoek, Namibia, from 10 to 16 December 2024. The session will open on Tuesday, 10 December 2024, at 10 a.m. Central Africa Time (CAT/UTC+02:00) and close on Monday, 16 December 2024, at 6 p.m. 

IPBES 11 will be preceded by regional consultations and the Stakeholder Day on 9 December 2024.

Delegates wishing to participate online must complete the same registration procedure as those attending in person. Online participants will not be allowed to make or submit interventions through the videoconferencing platform. Connection details for online participation will be provided closer to the meeting date.

Please note that assessment documents (IPBES/11/5 - Nexus and IPBES/11/6 - Transformative Change) are accessible to national focal points and duly registered IPBES-11 participants who have signed up as reviewers for these specific assessments.
