Stakeholder engagement in IPBES
IPBES aims to promote effective engagement with stakeholders in all relevant aspects of its work.
Stakeholder engagement has been identified as an important element for the relevance, effectiveness, credibility and overall success of the Platform. This statement is outlined in Deliverable 4(d): Stakeholder engagement strategy.
The overall purpose of stakeholder engagement is to support the implementation of IPBES work programmes in a participatory, inclusive and transparent manner.
How to engage?
Register to IPBES Stakeholder registry, as a first step.
For more active participation, join one of the existing IPBES Stakeholder networks:
