The Federal Republic of Somalia has formally joined IPBES as its 144th member

I am excited to announce that, shortly after the tenth session of the IPBES Plenary, the Government of the Federal Republic of Somalia formally joined IPBES as its 144th member.

The names of the designated IPBES national focal points for Somalia have been reflected on the IPBES website.

I know that you will join me in warmly welcoming Somalia to the growing IPBES family.
