Description of Impact(s) (English Only) A study titled “Vulnerability to climate change of islands worldwide and its impact on the tree of life,” published in the journal “Nature” incorporates the concepts of Nature's Contributions and aims to provide useful insight for IPBES-related works on the topic of phylogenetic diversity. The study highlights that in the Global Assessment, “PD is now recognised as a key indicator of one of “Nature’s Contributions to People” and notes that this study “contributes to issues of global relevance as defined in the policies of the IPCC and the IPBES.”
