Description of Impact(s) (English Only) The municipal government of Nigrán in Spain moved to present a proposal in its plenary session to recognize a state of climate emergency and take corresponding measures within the mandate of the City Council. The City Council highlighted the findings of the IPBES Global Assessment, including that one million species are at risk of extinction due to human activity.
