French Bee-Repopulation Honey Startup Draws Upon IPBES Pollinators Assessment for Private Venture

Description of Impact(s) (English Only) Drawing upon the IPBES Pollinators Assessment, Blue Blanc Ruche (Blue White Beehive) launched their crowd-funded honey project on September 10th in addition to their beekeeping school, the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Apicoles (EHEA). The project focuses on repopulating French bees and uses a pricing model which accounts for the cost of beekeepers increasing the number of hives. Their website displays the number of bees saved as well as the funds provided for EHEA per order.
