IPBES assessments
Uptake and use of approved IPBES assessments
The objective of this report is to demonstrate that it is viable to practice agriculture (in the broad sense of the term, encompassing livestock and forestry) in a sustainable manner in Brazil, pointing out paths and solutions, also considering future scenarios.
The Thematic Report will be based on current scientific literature, government reports, reports of companies and non-governmental organizations of recognized competence in the area and on the knowledge of the indigenous and traditional peoples and communities.

BPBES started in 2021 a Voluntary Young Researcher Program (JVP). In this particular Assessment there are 14 Post-Doc (2 per chapter and 2 with the Chairs of the Assessment). This 2 working with the chairs are also part of the IAI STeP Program (https://www.iai.int/en/step)
