The companies were motivated to undertake the process in response to the findings of the IPBES Global Assessment, according to EWT industry partnership senior manager Constant Hoogstad who said that there was “more than ever a need for businesses to step up their biodiversity game.” The companies are being supported by a World Wide Fund for Nature-South Africa Nedbank Green Trust project team.
