Scientists Use IPBES Conceptual Framework in Research to Address Environmental Discourse and Resource Understandings
English (396)
Researchers utilized the IPBES conceptual framework as a conceptual tool to examine and update the understanding of resource meanings and knowledge systems within historically non-sedentary societies. Researchers incorporated the concepts and methodologies outlined in the IPBES framework to analyze the connection between food customs, land knowledge, and resource understandings among non-sedentary peoples in Eurasia, specifically focusing on sturgeon aquaculture facilities in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan.
