Can the assessment focus on the analysis of regime lock-in mechanisms in order to un-lock and scale-up of agroecology as an alternative transformation?  Governance and market- social – political power asymmetries reflected on the global value chains (GVCs) and global production networks (GPNs) of the current dominant food regime - led by TNCs - constrain this transformation. Anderson, C.R. et al, 2019 propose to consider and analyze the dynamics among the following domains: (1) Access to Natural Ecosystems; (2) Knowledge and Culture; (3) Systems of Exchange; (4) Networks; (5) Equity; and (6) Discourse in order to enable this transformation.
