Reminder: Call for nomination for the Multidisciplinary Expert Panel, a member of the Bureau from the Asia-Pacific region and alternate Bureau members from the Africa and Asia-Pacific regions

With reference to notifications EM/2021/43 and EM/2021/34 I would like to remind you of the following upcoming deadlines:

1. The call for nominations of members of the Multidisciplinary Experts Panel of IPBES is closing on 9 March 2022. IPBES National Focal Points are invited to submit proposals for candidates, for nomination by regions and election by the Plenary, by filling out the online form and upload curricula vitae at https://ipbes.net/nomination-mep-ipbes9. The guidance note available here provides all necessary information on the nomination and selection process, including information on who is eligible for re-election among the current members. All nominations received will be made available at https://ipbes.net/nomination-mep-ipbes9-list.

2. The call for nominations for a member of the IPBES Bureau from the Asia-Pacific region and alternate Bureau members from the Africa and Asia-Pacific regions is also closing on 9 March 2022. IPBES National Focal Points are invited to submit proposals for candidates, for nomination by regions and election by the Plenary, by filling out the online form and upload curricula vitae at https://ipbes.net/nomination/bureau_members_ipbes9. All nominations received will be made available at https://ipbes.net/nomination/bureau_members_ipbes9-list.
