Italy Joins IPBES as its 135th Member

Dear IPBES members, observers and other interested stakeholders,

I am very pleased to announce that the Government of the Republic of Italy has formally joined IPBES as its 135th member!

The secretariat will post on the IPBES web site the contact details for the Italian National Focal Point for IPBES as soon as it has been received.

 I know that you will join me in warmly welcoming Italy to the growing IPBES family – strengthening science and policy, for people and nature.
