Global Assessment Findings used by SAIIA to Argue for Immediate Action to Preserve Biodiversity Especially in Africa

The South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) published an opinion piece following the conclusion of the first segment of the fifth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-5) - using the findings of the IPBES Global Assessment to corroborate it's call for urgent action, cooperation, ambition, and finance for the restoration and preservation of biodiversity - especially in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
