Description of Impact(s) (English Only) In a call from more than 300 scientists to the European Commission to end overfishing, the Our Fish group cited the IPBES Global Assessment as their first reason why they were calling on "the European Commission, European Parliament and EU member states to recognise that ecosystem-based fisheries management is critical to the health of the ocean and its capacity to respond to climate change and that fishing limits must be set accordingly."
