Following the release of the IPBES Pandemics Report, German Environment Minister Svenja Schulze held a media conference to present key findings from the Report and implications for a German and international context. Schulze called for "large investments in the conservation, sustainable use and restoration of ecosystems" as well as an "ambitious new post-2020 global biodiversity framework" and "for a protocol on combating wildlife crime under the Convention against Transnational Organized Crime."
