City of Copenhagen and Key Landowners Commit to Biodiversity-Friendly Actions for the City, based on One Million Species at Risk Finding of IPBES Global Assessment

The City of Copenhagen and major landowners of the city signed an agreement committing to biodiversity-supportive measures, based on the Global Assessment Report finding that one million species are at risk of extinction. These measures include: improving access to nature for Copenhagen dwellers, creating new green areas, monitoring the development of biodiversity and screening for areas with special potential for restoring biodiversity.
