Stakeholder day prior to IPBES-3

We would like to inform interested stakeholders that the stakeholder day prior to IPBES-3 will be held on Sunday 11 January 2015. Those wishing to participate are kindly requested to ask the organizations they represent to follow the accreditation and registration procedures for observer organizations and fill out the registration form found on the IPBES website: http://ipbes.net/registrationformipbes3

Organizations that were granted observer status for IPBES-2 do not to need to re-submit any documents. However, they will still
need to fill out the registration form on the IPBES website and respond to the question "Was your organisation represented in previous IPBES Plenaries?" by ticking the box "Yes". Organizations that were not granted observer status for IPBES-2 would need to tick the box "No" when responding to the same question and provide the necessary information. The Bureau will then review the list of those expressing their wish to be represented at IPBES-3 as observers, upon submission of such list by the secretariat. The deadline for accreditation and registration of observer organizations is 15 September 2014.
